Bilal ibn Rabaah

This book explores the life of Bilal ibn Rabaah, one of the most fascinating companions of the prophet peace be upon him, and his connection to Masjid Al-Aqsa.

Bilal was born into slavery, but once he accepted Islam, he became one of the most respected companions of the prophet peace be upon him.

Bilal is the first Mu’azzin (caller of Adhan) and his remarkable link to Masjid Al-Aqsa is explored in this book.

About Friends Of Al Aqsa

Friends of Al-Aqsa is a UK-based non-profit making NGO concerned with defending the human rights of Palestinians and protecting the sacred Al-Aqsa Sanctuary in Jerusalem. This vision is supported by various international groups and organizations. Friends of Al-Aqsa was first established in 1997 and has an international support base.

  • Working in conjunction with international heritage, cultural and humanitarian organisations in joint ventures to advance these aims
