About The Author

Iqrah Razzaq

Iqrah Razzaq is the founder of Al Qasas Learning. She was born in Norway and moved to London at the age of 11. Growing up in London she was at amazed at all the opportunities available for learning about Islam. Whilst working as a science researcher she started her journey of learning more about Islam where she discovered her passion for tajweed. She is now working on supporting and helping parents teach their children to read the Quran with tajweed by creating hands-on and engaging workbooks.

The Islam Shop wanted to tell you the story behind Al Qasas Learning and the journey of how it all started. The Islam Shop are sure that you can relate to life turning upside down when we were in our first ever lockdown here in the UK. All Islamic and Arabic classes moved online and the community work they did was stopped due to the risks. Life certainly changed completely and the authors started questioning their purpose in life.

So during Ramadan, they turned to Allah SWT, asking him to show the authors how they could use the knowledge they had gained to benefit others. Subhanallah an idea popped into their head, all the Masjids (Mosques) were closed down and children in the author's family were not going to their Quran classes. So they spoke to some of their relatives and said they would be happy to teach them tajweed online.
