Al Hijama Cupping - Healing the Sunnah Way

Getting Hijamah done is the sunnah of Rasoolallah.

He Himself got Hijama done and advised others to get it done, as this was advised to him by the angels when he was on Miraj (Ascension to the heavens). Its authenticity and importance can be accessed from the fact that Imam Bukhari has allotted 5 chapters to Hijamah in his Sahih. In this brief book, we have dealt with some general principles of attaining physical and spiritual health in the sunnah way with diagrams on the sites to be used in various diseases. It is very simple and most affective form of treatment.

عن عبد الله بن مسعود رضي الله عنه قال: حدث رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن ليلة أسري به أنه لم يمر على من الملائكة إلا أمروه أن: مر أمتك بالحجامة
(رواه الترمذي في سننه رقم 2052 و حسنه و صححه الشيخ الألباني في صححه الترمذي)

حكم: صحيح

'Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) related to us regarding the night of ascension that he did not pass by any group of angels except that they said order your ummat to do Hijama.
(Narrated by Tirmidhi in his Sounan n ° 2052 who authenticated it and it was also authenticated by Sheikh Albani in Sahîh Tirmidhi, Hadith Sahîh)

Anas ibn Maalik reported that the Messenger r said, "Indeed the best of remedies you have is cupping (hijama)…" [Saheeh al-Bukhaaree (5371)].
