The Tafsir of Surah Maryam

This commentary of Surah Maryam covers a narrative on Maryam (Mary) as well as the narratives of her son, the Prophet Isa (Jesus): the prophet Zakariyya (Zacharia), his son Yahya (john the Baptist), the prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), the prophet Musa (Moses), and many others (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon them all). The commentary covers the birth of Jesus in detail and elaborates on his true identity. It confirms the reality of resurrection and offers depictions of the Day of Judgement alongside depictions of this life.

If humanity wishes to accomplish connection with its Lord then acquiring cognisance of Him is dependent on the recitation of Qur’an, understanding its meaning and once an understanding is acquired, adherence to its knowledge and injunctions. After writing a commentary on Surah Yusuf and Surah Nuh, Maulana Abdul Raheem sahib has now written this commentary on Surah Maryam. May the Most Noble Master, by granting an honour of approval, accept this service. Amin, O Lord of the Worlds.
