About The Author

Dr Amanulla Vadakkangara is a teacher turned journalist, businessman and social activist with outstandind track record.

Dr. Amanulla Vadakkangara, the former head of the department of Arabic and Islamic Studies at Ideal Indian School Doha is known for his innovative approach in teaching Arabic to the non Arabic speaking people. His short term courses to enable the beginners to read, write and Speak Arabic was well appreciated by all. He was responsible for introducing Arabic as a second language in CBSE affiliated schools in Qatar and his books are prescribed by several schools in India and abroad.

He was responsible for making Spoken Arabic, an important area of study not only in Qatar but in different parts of the world. Now his books are sold worldwide with great demand. He is the author of more than a dozen books on Spoken Arabic in different languages facilitating people to acquire some basic information about Arabic and creating interest among learners. About Goodword

Islamic scholar, Maulana Wahiduddin Khan, felt the desire to give expression to his positive ideas by establishing the Islamic Centre in Delhi in 1976 and it was then, with this humble attempt, that the journey towards the inception of Goodword began.
