Aisha رضی اللہ عنھا (may Allah be pleased with her) the wife of the Prophet Muhammad (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) was an extraordinary human being. She was highly learned and considered to be one of the foremost scholars of the early Islamic period.

Aisha رضی اللہ عنھا, the wife of Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ (pbuh), was an extraordinary human bieng. She was highly learned and is considered to be on of the foremost scholars of the early Islamic period. She recorded the life of Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ (pbuh),and bieng a brilliant scholar and an excellent teacher, she explained it with intelligence and insight. Aisha رضی اللہ عنھا narated about 2200 Ahadith, which is an amazing achievement for anyone.

After the demise of Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ, Aisha رضی اللہ عنھا devoted most of her time to the propagation of Islam, making every effort to spread its messageby teaching its tenets, She also took an active part in educational and social reforms.

Aisha رضی اللہ عنھا (may Allah be pleased with her) is undoubtedly an exemplary figure in the history of islam and is an inspiration to all.

This book is a brief account of her life written for elder children. Includes full colour illustrations.

About the Author:

Sr. Nafees Khan is a graduate of Aligarh Muslim University in India and a retired member of The Ontario College of Teachers in Canada. Her career spans over thirty years as an elementary school teacher. Sr. Nafees has been an active member of the Muslim community in Canada since 1967. Her dedication to the Muslim Community and her love of teaching lead to her key role in the establishment of two prominent schools in Toronto: Islamic Foundation and Al Falah. Sr. Nafees served as Principal at both of these schools as well. Her other books are A to Z of Akhlaaq, Allah’s Zoo, Basic Duas for Children, Prophet of Peace and The Traveller from the Heavens.
