All of the love stories in the Qur’an have the connotations of birr: protection, qawwam, endearment, sacrifice, acceptance, allowing redemption and return after sin, opening what others closed and uplifting those who others pushed down. They are the opposite of what is conventional, the oxymoron of the sinfulness that others display, and the righteous rain of barakah into the heart and mind of those who are distant from Allah (s.w.t.).

Shaykh Yahya Adeel Ibrahim started his knowledge journey with the memorization of Qur’ān in his teens and then pursued his studies in exegesis, jurisprudence, and hadith with scholars from the Hijaz and in Egypt as well. Imam Yahya is a registered Teacher and currently an Assistant Principal. He also serves the Muslim community at Curtin University and the University of Western Australia as the Islamic Chaplain and teaches Islamic Ethics & Theology & Exegesis for Al-Maghrib Institute.
