Four Essays on the Obligation of Veiling

Discover the beauty, wisdom, and divine guidance behind the Islamic obligation of Hijab and veiling in this powerful and enlightening book, Four Essays on the Obligation of Veiling. This second edition expands upon the widely acclaimed Three Essays on the Obligation of Veiling, which captivated English-speaking Muslims since its first publication in 2003.

Due to its overwhelming popularity and demand, this edition has been beautifully revised and enriched with a brand-new treatise, making it a collection of four insightful essays authored by renowned scholars—each offering a profound exploration of the importance of Hijab, the virtue of modesty, and the religious obligation upon Muslim women to observe the veil as prescribed in the Qur’an and Sunnah.

In addition to the four treatises, this edition includes valuable appendices filled with authentic statements and scholarly quotes from both classical and contemporary scholars, further clarifying key points and reinforcing the timeless wisdom of Islam’s guidance on modesty.

Through eloquent arguments, authentic proofs, and deep spiritual insight, Four Essays on the Obligation of Veiling aims to strengthen the believer’s understanding, revive faith in divine rulings, and inspire Muslim women to take pride in fulfilling one of the most dignified and honourable acts of obedience—the wearing of the Hijab.

Whether you are seeking knowledge, clarity, or spiritual motivation, this book is an essential addition to your Islamic library.
