This book was written with both Muslim and non-Muslim audiences in mind to foster understanding and respect. It can be used as a starting point for discussions to address and help tackle discrimination and hate aimed at Muslims (including children). Sadly, racism and discrimination are also prevalent within the Muslim community itself. This book aims to teach Muslim children about some basic Islamic practices whilst highlighting the importance of finding commonalities with people of different backgrounds.
The book includes an engaging activity at the end and has further suggestions for activities.

Laila Ramadhani is from Medan, Indonesia. She studied Visual Communication Design in Bandung. She has been an enthusiast of children's book as long as she can remember. She is a freelance illustrator of children's books.
