Holding an Islamic Studies degree from Islamic American University, a Master’s in Islamic Studies from American Open University, and a PhD in Islamic Law from the American University for Human Sciences, Dr. Rabab brings a rich and rigorous academic background to her work. Her deep-rooted interest in women’s rights, Islamic law, and Islamic history, as well as her expertise in comparative fiqh, underscores her scholarship and dedication.
Dr. Rabab is actively involved in teaching and community outreach, sharing her knowledge across various institutions and settings. At Northwest Suburban College, she has taught Arabic, Qur’anic Arabic, and Religion in Architecture. Her affiliation with the Arab Academy for Shari'a Sciences in Beirut, Lebanon, showcases her specialization in Comparative Fiqh, and she has taught Principles of the Islamic Faith at American Open University and Comparative Fiqh at the Islamic Society of Northwest Suburbs in Illinois. She continues to educate and inspire both Muslim and non-Muslim communities, offering her insight as a guest speaker at mosques, community centers, and interfaith venues, including the Islamic Foundation in Villa Park, Al-Huda Academy in Schaumburg, and Little Home Church in West Chicago.
