Jesus Prophet of Islam

"Jesus: Prophet of Islam" is a timeless and influential exploration of Isa (AS) as a revered prophet within Islam, offering a detailed account of his life and teachings. This best-selling book, originally published in 1977 by Muhammad 'Ata ur-Rahim, has captivated readers worldwide and now, in its revised edition by co-author Ahmad Thomson, continues to be an authoritative and well-researched study of immense significance.

This remarkable text delves into the life of Jesus, known in Islam as Isa (AS), examining his role as a prophet advocating the Oneness of God. It provides an in-depth analysis of the historical evolution of Unitarian and Trinitarian Christianity, drawing references from the Qur'an and Hadith to unravel the true teachings of Jesus within the Islamic tradition.

What sets this book apart is its critical evaluation of the Gospel of Barnabas, shedding light on its significance and exploring its narrative in connection to Isa's teachings. "Jesus: Prophet of Islam" offers a meticulous investigation into the Gospel of Barnabas and other historical texts, providing readers with a comprehensive understanding of early Unitarian Christians and the divergence from the original message of Jesus to the formation of what is commonly recognized as "Christianity" today.

The book presents a compelling argument, backed by extensive research, that challenges the concept of the Trinity as a later innovation within Christianity. It offers a thought-provoking perspective on the adoption of Greek pagan concepts by early Christian missionaries to gain converts, leading to the divergence from the original message of Jesus as a proponent of monotheism.

"Jesus: Prophet of Islam" stands as a scholarly cornerstone, examining the historical, theological, and textual aspects of Jesus' teachings within Islam. Its widespread translation into multiple languages attests to its global relevance and the importance of its message. This book is not only a fascinating read but also an enlightening journey through the life and teachings of Isa (AS), offering a profound understanding of his role as a revered prophet in Islam and his advocacy for the unity and oneness of God.
