Hazrat Moulana Ahmad Hasan Bham (RH) belongs to the town of Simlak. He was a pious, good-natured, ambitious, kind-hearted, knowledgeable and generous, sincere and high-level administrator. He was counted among the genius personalities of his time. Through him Allah almighty has took lot of good work in his early age. He was endowed with many virtues and attributes. The pain and sorrow of the nation and sincerity and divinity has become part of his nature.

He was born in the year 1296 H (1878 CE) at village Simlak, Navsari taluka, Surat district Gujarat State. His early education started in his village under Hazrat Moulana Ameeruddin Sahab Simlaki (RH) guidance. Then for learning Persian and early Arabic, he went to Madrasa Anjuman-E-Islam Kathor where he studied under Hazrat Moulana Abdul Haq Hazarwi (RH). For secondary education he went to Madrasa Islamia Lajpur where he studied under Hazrat Moulana Sufi Ahmed Miya Lajpuri (RH). For higher studies he visited Delhi and took admission in Madrasa Hussain Baksh. After studying there for one year he then took admission in Madrasa Jamiah Uloom Kanpur founded by Hazrat Thanwi (RH) where he studied for 2 years. Due to plague epidemic at that time, he then came back to Delhi and took admission in Madrasa Abdul Rub Delhi where he studied Uloom-E-Aliya under the guidance of Hazrat Moulana Abdul Alaa Sahab Merathi (RH) (disciple of Hazrat Aqdas Nanotvi (RH)). Finally, he graduated from Madrasa Ameenia in Delhi at the age of 26 at the hands of eminent scholars of the time Hazrat Moulana Ameenuddin Aurangabadi Sahab (RH) and Hazrat Mufti Kifayatullah Dehlavi (RH).

After graduation, he taught at the Madrasa at Turawa in Surat as first teacher for some time. Then he went back to his native place in order to work among the native peoples to remove Bidaat and non-religious customs among them. He then started imparting Islamic knowledge to the students from his home itself. Because of his sincerity and hard work, the number of students increased gradually. He shifted the Madrasa to Masjid in Simlak to cater to the needs of increase in number of students and then he asked his teacher Hazrat Moulana Sufi Ahmed Miya Lajpuri (RH) to inaugurate Madrasa officially by name Talimuddin. At that time his age was 31 years.

With his sincere and hard work, there was increase in number of students and in turn the teachers and other staff in madrasa. Within 2 years (1328 H), Simlak Masjid was not sufficient to cater to the growing number of students and teachers. He then with the help of Navsari nayab subedar and famous freedom fighter Hazrat Moulana Mohammed Ali Johar (RH) (died 1931 CE) bought a piece of land near Eidgah at west side of Dabhel. He constructed a Masjid at that land and shifted Madrasa to this place.

The Madrasa requires substantial capital to run its day to day activities such as schooling & boarding. In order to arrange some of it he went to South Africa in the month of Rabi ul Awwal 1334 H (January 1916 CE). Apart from his relatives, there are many peoples of Gujarat were already residing there. Even after reaching Africa he was involves in many religious activities. He laid the foundation of Masjid in Franklin city. He then worked among fellow Muslims to remove grievance and established brotherhood among them. Formed a committee among peoples from the vicinity of Dabhel for the revenue generation to cover expenditure of Madrasa. Which proved to be useful and helpful for Madrasa. Moulana Bham (RH) was a dynamic and active figure who also founded a Madrasa in Maputo, the capital city of Mozambique. After finishing the work there as he was planning return, he fell ill with the deadly plague which was spreading there. At the age of 42 years he died and attain martyrdom (inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rijioon). He was buried in Brampton, Johannesburg, South Africa. May Allah Almighty make your grave one of the beds of heaven. May the best of the rewards be bestowed on him. May Allah Almighty make this garden even greener and save it from all the conspiracies and temptations of this world. Aameen. He took care of Madrasa for total 10 years, 5 months and 10 days.
